"Mille Nuits" highball glass, $140/set of two Baccarat

- CB2
- Crate & Barrel's younger, hipper sister stocks a very mature (and insanely well-priced) array of barware and wineglasses.
- Iittala
- The Finnish firm has loyally stuck to the sleek, pared-down looks (Alfredo Haberli's "Essence" line, minimalist "Aarne" cocktail glasses) that made Scandinavian design famous.
- Juliska
- Just six years old, the prolific Connecticut company uses shapes and decorative touches—particularly berry, dot and threading details—that date as far back as the 1300s.
- Martha Stewart Collection at Macy's
- This collaboration between the two houseware giants launched in September with about 2,000 products, based on discoveries—such as fluted highball glasses and superthin "Hadley" drinkware—that Stewart had collected for her own home.
- Nancy Koltes at Home
- The interior designer, known primarily for Italian-made textiles, also sells perfect double-old-fashioned "Gio" glasses.
- Nicole Farhi Home
- Each piece is a substantial work of art with bold proportions, dynamic and slightly asymmetrical shapes, or the mark of the hand.
- William Yeoward Crystal
- A huge inventory of fine British crystal produced exactly as it was 300 years ago, in styles borrowed from those times too.
