The Ingredients:


Serves 8
  • 3 cups sour cream (from two 16-ounce containers)
  • 1/4 cup amaretto
  • 1 tbsp. packed dark-brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 lbs. cherries, halved and pitted
  • 1/4 cup toasted sliced almonds

Combine sour cream, amaretto and brown sugar in a medium bowl, and mix well. Divide cherries among eight dishes (about 1 cup per dish), top with the sour-cream mixture, and sprinkle with almonds.
