Rosemary Martini

An assertive, dry drink is a welcome way to begin any gathering: here the twist is the spicy, fragrant rosemary sprig.

The Ingredients:

Makes one drink
  • 2 oz. gin
  • ½ oz. dry
  • vermouth
  • 1 large
  • rosemary sprig

Combine all ingredients plus ice in a shaker; shake and strain into cocktail glass. Garnish with rosemary sprig. (Add sprig to the bottle of gin several hours before for a more pronounced effect.) Serve on the rocks if you want to make the martini lighter.

  • 1 bottle (750 ml) vermouth
  • small bunch fresh rosemary sprigs
