It's Oyster Season!

September traditionally marks the beginning of oyster season—but these days you can enjoy them all year round. Order a couple dozen from top-notch oyster farms, break out the shucking knives, enlist a few handy friends and throw together a half-shell feast in no time. Stock up on plenty of light, crisp white wine—muscadet is my favorite—and you're good to go.
