To stencil successfully, use a tiny amount of paint so it goes on practically dry, and build the intensity of color in layers. It is traditional to stencil with a stencil brush, but if you have a large area to cover, then you might want opt for a foam paint roller. Our step-by-step instructions—for brushing and for rolling— make the process easy.
