My Bedroom's Blue
Call me robin. Because I'm going to be waking up in this robin's egg blue room from now on... I like it, I think.
I had a hard day on Saturday and was weepy because I feel so displaced. Then I went into this room and felt all that stuff coming back to me about how I always wanted a blue bedroom and never had one, etc. It was like there was a white canopied bed sitting right there on top of all the scraped paint and red rosin paper rug. But don't panic; I'm not getting a canopied bed.
What do you think of the color?

The blue color turned out great! I think you'll really enjoy the calming, yet fresh feeling it gives your room.
That is quite nice.
I love it!
I want to paint my bedroom a light robin's egg blue too. That looks like a nice shade but not too blue.
Thanks, everyone. I'm thinking of possibly doing one accent wall in darker blue, but I'm going to have to wait and see I think. It feels a little like a nursery, but I think it'll be better with my furniture in there. Fingers crossed.
Scrappy,
I think it's gorgeous! I love how the paint reflects the light. And you're right, with furniture, your bed and artwork, it won't look like a Tiffany's box.

It looks really nice. I'm addicted to blue, and need to bring the blue's down a bit in my place.
what color name and brand is that? I love it and am thinking of painting my former closet turned new office that color!
Hi there--
It's called Barely Teal from Benjamin Moore.

I did a blue room and the color was off. It ended up looking like a 1st grade classroom!!! I ended up painting tan stripes on the onebig wall. I loved it after that.
Maybe live with it before you do another color on the wall.
