Big Chill Retro Fridge
Okay, I know I'm supposed to be picking paint colors for the bedroom and hallway, like, um, yesterday (painter starts next week). But I love this Big Chill refrigerator. We did a Daily Dot about it a while ago, but I'd forgotten about it until I found Blink Decor, which is an online guide to decorating and renovating websites.
If I do a retro kitchen, I think I may have to have this refrigerator.

I hadn't planned on going retro but I bought a 50's chrome and red cracked ice formica table recently, on the spur of the moment.
I NEED THAT REFRIGERATOR! In red of course.
Lovers of retro fridges - when I remodeled my kitchen 2 yrs ago I finally got my dream - a Northstar by Elmira Stoveworks. It has a freezer on the bottom, which I love, and comes in great colors. Mine is a soft, buttery yellow. It makes me happy everytime I open it!

For a girl with serious vintage appliance lust, these are like ice cream sundaes! I think the price is about equal to two mortgage payment though so not a spontaneous purchase. Make sure the door open on the correct side for your kitchen layout.
I love that fridge. Now if only I had a bungalow to put it in. Hmmmmm...
I LOVE my Big Chill. We got ours about a year ago and we get tons of compliments on it!! We chose that one instead of the Elmira because we liked the styling better. We couldn't be happier!! If you are even thinking about getting one, you should call them and find out more about them! :)
Oh, I love to hear that someone actually has one and likes it. I was a little worried it'd just be another pretty face...
