Inspiring Willard
I have a huge Aloe marlothii named Willard - I named him Willard because he is covered with thorns, so he looks pretty creepy and unapproachable. But I love him. When I got him, he had the most magnificent candleabra of a bloom spike on him - in fact, I still have the dried spike... it looks like antlers. For four years, I have been waiting patiently for Willard to bloom again - to make me the happiest gardener in the world with that magnificent blossom of his, but I have waited in vain. I think he needs something to inspire him ... maybe a female Aloe marlothii - a Wilma!
Or Aloe viagra?
Suggestions?

Hi!! I have no Aloe Love advice, but I saw this on Martha S's blog (which is HYSTERICAL, I think she might actually write it herself, amazingly?) and thought of you. You have matching dogs!

Too bad you don't have a picture of yourself with Snoop!
OMIGOD! Those dogs!
They are Dexter and Sadie!
I think Martha COPIED ME!
Kate, she has to be writing the blog because who else would dote on her dogs like that? When could she possibly have time? I do 1/50th of what she does and I don't have time to get a manicure! (my cuticles are in a state of utter disgrace) I hear she doesn't sleep.
Okay, girls, somehow I've got to get a picture of myself with Snoop Dogg. That is going to be my big overarching project for the year. Snoop and The Germinatrix! I might not be Martha, but girl can strive, can't she?
Maybe a shot of fertilizer? Is it potassium of phosphorus for flowers..?
