Design Diva Fabrics

If you can get past the name (believe me it took some effort on my part), Design Diva Fabrics is an incredible resource.  I don't know where they're getting all these old designer fabrics but the merch serves as one big, sad reminder that most of the good fabrics eventually go to that showroom in the sky.  Why??  Would Clarence House come up with something as quirky as this tennis toile in 2008?

Doubtful.  It's currently on sale for $30.16 per yard or about 80% off the (original) list price.  Oh, and DDF has a feature where you vote on your favorite fabric and the winners enter a kind of lightning round, the price per yard going down by the second until some lucky decorating fiend gets the lot of it for waaay less than listed.  Totally in keeping with the U.S. Americans' lottery mentality!  Other favorites include this Lee Jofa crewel at deep discount (pretty sure it's not discontinued ... yet):

and Clarence House cotton Scottish tartan at only 16 bucks a yard:

OMG Thank you so much for telling us about this source!!
I've been dieing to get my hands on affordable designer fabrics for my huge patio sliders. And now I'm doing my 2 y/o boy's room but not too babyish. But...I know this sounds greedy already, but would you happen to know any place to get Designers Guild fabric at a discount??? No pressure though:)

I've been a Design Diva fan for ages. I actually got beautiful hempy-like linen for $5/yard! And gorgeous prints too. ( Nice thing, too, is when they send you your fabric, they include a color print of the fabric so that you can put it in your file and remember the fabrics you've scored and squirreled away. )

You should really checkout www.thetextilemill.com, these fabrics are beautiful. Prices are great, the quality is unreal, just like getting it from the design center. www.thetextilemill.com is a designers dream. Courteous service and promt shipping, plus stellar design center fabrics below wholesale! I give them an A+!

I have been looking for that Lee Jofa crewel for over a year now! I want to use it to have my bedroom walls upholstered. I have prussian blue and ivory stripe curtains and a copper (faux paint)ceiling that it is perfect with. I already have a rocking chair in that crewel and I want to tie my other elements together with that pattern. I can be reached at sflowers@primerafinancial.com if you have a resource where it can be purchased. It does not seem to be available at Lee Jofa or Design Diva presently. If you do know of a source, please e-mail my with the subject line Lee Jofa fabric. Thank you for considering this!
