Rigaud Bougie de Voyage

Classicrigaud

I bought a Rigaud of Paris travel candle (or a 'Bougie de Voyage' as its called by Rigaud) the other day. I love its little zebra printed tin and its scent is so happy-making--the perfect antidote to a dreary hotel room. Diana Vreeland loved them and used to use the signature zebra printed boxes the candles come in for pencil pots for her desk. I noticed when I was researching online where to find Rigaud candles that The Peak Of Chic lists them as a classic on her post of August 23, 2007 titled 'The Classics'. Rigaud candles really are classic, I couldn?t agree more, especially the Cypres scent, which is the original.

I have been reading this blog for a while. (I'm referring to all of the Daily Dose posts). I just don't understand why it is so bad. Do you guys read any other blogs? Even Luckymag.com has pretty decent blogs. But there is nothing ever very interesting or stylish... I just don't understand. You have a lot of resources at your disposal. If you're not interested in writing, what about one of the many design bloggers out there who would love to write for domino. I keep hoping the blogs will get better as I love the magazine, but something is just not working here. I am so happy you have Grace from Design Sponge on board now, so maybe we'll see some improvement....

Allura, would you consider emailing me at rita_konig@condenast.com. i would be interested in opening a dialogue with you. best, rita

Hi Rita,
Thanks for not being offended by my post. Just want to say here that I love your work for the magazine and actually love your book (which I have). OK, I'm sending you an email now.

Hmmm, I don't think my comment posted.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I appreciated your gracious response to my criticism. I actually love your work in the magazine, and I have your book (which I've also read like hundreds of times!). OK, I'm sending you an email now.
Thanks.
