One of the things that nearly always sends me into total confusion and a muddle on a decorating job is the hardware. One doesn't always want to have the recognisable hardware in bathrooms that comes from some of our favourite bathroom supply shops. i've always been able to find worthy shelf brackets, but do you have any idea where to find wooden planks to place atop?
I would try asking at Home Depot or a local lumber yard.
