West Elm Disease
West Elm, if lovin' you is wrong then I don't want to be right! Right now it's only 50 bucks for my fave Greek key wall bracket (or "Mandarin" according to W.E. marketing genies) in gold :
And $59 for this two-tone bamboo/cotton throw with blanket stitching and festive fringe!
Just the kind of timeless, anonymous style I flip for. And who says you can't paint these brackets to match your room, hmm? Or hang a pair flanking a modern hall mirror topped with huge rock crystal or amethyst geodes? Or blue and white porcelain -- think to yourself, What Would Mario Do? And I bet stitching two of the throws together would make a great tablecloth.

I think West Elm is having free shipping on some of their items right now also.
I agree. I love West Elm too!! Of course you could paint them if you had to. People need to use more paint. Everyone needs to have spray cans of silver, gold and bronze at home. High-gloss black and high-gloss white would also be useful to have around.
Hi Nick!
That Mandarin bracket is really beautiful. I agree, West Elm has some great options. I have the 12 section rolling storage shelf and it's been amazing. Holds so muchand keeps it compartment-alized!
I love that white resin candleholder from west elm in this month's issue (50 under50). It is not on the website. can it only be bought at the store?
Did you see the Tony Duquette windows at Bergdorf Goodmans? I want to install an over the top window display as art in my wall as an homage to such a creative mind!
oof, not sure about the candleholders. but sure i need to see these bergdorf windows! duquette was genius, so is david hoey who does those awesome vignettes.
