If you are ever looking for vintage linens, those wonderful heavy ones that are so good for upholstery, or old plaid blankets, American quilts, 50's chintz - frankly just about anything in the textile department - rolls of antique ribbon and furniture too, Paula Rubenstein (65 Prince Street (212) 966-8954) is one of my most trusty sources. You never know what you might find but for the propping stages of a house or the upholstery moment this is an excellent stop where I never fail to find a few things.
