Faux Bois Picnic Plates
Now, I know this looks like a really dreary post about old fashioned Limoges plates, but these are the faux bois plastic picnic plates I mentioned in my previous post. I think they are so great. I first discovered them in Boston in small quantities, but have since discovered large stocks at William Wayne. I know that it is unusual to blog the same shop twice in a week, but I really wanted to be able to show what these look like. I don't think a winter picnic should be eaten off anything else.

Hi Rita
Enjoyed Domestic Bliss and always love your writing. I am sure that I read somewhere in your writings of a French florist's beautiful home fragance, and linen spray. If memory seves there was something about blue packaging? I have gone through you book looking for this mention and can't find it. What was the name of the florist.
there is a man in paris called herve gambs, he has a shop selling silk flowers and he does wonderful candles and he used to do a fragrance that you put in the washing machine. he also did sprays as you were supposed to by the silk lavender and then spray it! sounds awful, but actually was all very beautifully done. i think that must me who you are thinking of.
That's exactly it, thanks! Also I have a new tiny shop and blog. Would love it if you visited when you have an opportunity. All the best
