A few weeks ago Tim told me about this blog desire to inspire, authored by two girls (an Australian and a Canadian) who just wanna have fun spreading good design. I 'm obsessed! Foreign interiors mags are too expensive so I'll gladly let them sift and sort and bring me all the great photos, like this one from the Portuguese Maxima Interiores:
Ebonized floor, pale aqua wall and baseboard, rando grouping of art and this amazing yellow chair. Anybody know who designed it or where I can get something similar for my desk at work? I love the metal frame and the close buttoned cushion. Thanks Kim and Jo!

Thanks for the shout out Nick! We are having so much fun scouring the web for great images. I think we're more addicted than our readers. Time to be cheeky. Any photos of your own work you'd like to share with us? And sorry no idea about the chair except it's probably vintage like all the good ones are.
It's a Charles Pollock Executive Chair, by Knoll. They come with and without arms. The yellow upholstery is unusual and not typical of Knoll, I don't think, so it might be a post-market re-do.
jo, that project would be my next apartment because i don't think i'm staying for another rent hike, BOO! and thanks pt for schooling on the chair. coincidentally "post-market re-do" is the name of my new brooklyn art-funk band. i'm on the slide guitar AND backup vocals.
Nick: You're gonna have to be in a tribute band because I'm the lead singer of the ORIGINAL Post-market-re-do, which is based not in Brooklyn but Bethesda. So back off, mister.
Ooooh, a rock rumble!
pt is right -- that is a Knoll chair - I just bought two of those from an architect friend for $25 a piece. VERY comfortable!!!
